42 - Tourism on Minavra

Previous session: 41 - Once More, With Dessert

A new friend
...

After admiring the view for a little more, Nesvalyn proposes to get down to reach the street level.
When looking down, we see these strange vehicles, along shapeshifted beasts of various forms and shapes we've never seen before.
We shape back into the Cloud form, and start to make our way to the street level. As we're navigating, an out of nowhere storm is on top of us, and the wind starts to blow heavily.
[Acrobatics] We're being carried by the wind again, when suddenly Persy and Reylynn feels they're being caught in a net, and they tumble down again and again while reverting to their humanoid form, until they slam.
Axel and Nesvalyn see that net and the scene.

???
Ouh, what? Fuck!

The duo knocked over a person, dressed in a very fitted raincoat, with circular goggles, with something wiping off the rain. Their hair is a bright jarring magenta color.

???
Hey! Get out of my rig! The storm's almost done!

They push out Persy and Reylynn, moving the fabric to get hit by the storm and absorbs it.

Persy
That wasn't really my choice.

Persy grabs Reylynn and hovers away.
And as fast it appeared, as fast the storm disappeared.
This person has two massive silk ribbons attached to buildings on each side. They twist their wrist and the ribbons wraps around that person, as they remove their raincoat and goggles, reveals a bandolier with bottles filled with crackling thunders.
They look like some kind of half-elf. They turn around to the duo, and Axel with Nesvalyn regroup.

Ribbon half-elf
Woah, I'm glad you guys are safe. It's dangerous to fly in a storm with no protection.
Axel
Definitively, we weren't aware.
Persy
Well, I'll try to be better at dodging that next time.
Reylynn
Skill issue.
Ribbon half-elf
Oh, it's kind of hard here. Minavra is its own beast.

They shake the water away.

Ribbon half-elf
I'm Sabine.
Axel
I'm Axel, it's good to meet you.
Persy
Persy Beydenst. That seems to be a nifty setup you have here, I've never seen that before.
Sabine
Are you guys cops? Pigs?
Persy
No, I'm just a technomage and interested in... whatever
Axel
I don't think that's true, that doesn't seem to be illegal. That would be weird for cops to be on the case.
Persy
It's not useful to precise that Axel...
Sabine
What are you then? Druids?
Persy
I said it earlier, we are, well, I am a technomage.
Sabine (to Reylynn)
And her? Death Inc?
Nesvalyn
Not really, we're just adventurers.
Sabine
Oh, free thinkers alike. I like that.

They toss us a bottle filled with a lightning.

Axel
How do you do that? That's so cool!
Sabine
You see, the druids conjure the storms to power their District. Death Inc uses the water to power their district. So the middle district has nothing, so I'm gathering lightnings in some bottles for them.

Nesvalyn hands it back to Sabine.

Nesvalyn
No, I can't accept it, you said it was to power people who don't have it.
Persy
I don't think we're taking charity away, they're a business person, we can take a free sample.

Persy takes the bottle of Lightning from Nesvalyn and puts it in his bag.

Sabine
Eh, should you run into any pigs. Would be easier if you never saw me...
Persy
We're many things, but we're not snitches.
Sabine
What brings you here?
Persy
To begin with, our ship is busted out. So we're here to find someone to help us with that.
Sabine
Ooooh. So if you took the elevator, you would've been in Portstown where the ship manufacturers are. It's a couple of miles away from here.
Persy
And I think my friend mentioned Death Inc, as they have some stuff on us.
Axel
They have an hit on us, and it was an honest misunderstanding, so we're looking for a resolve of the situation.
Persy
And it's the reason of our ship being busted off.
Sabine
Oooooh. Well, so I doubt you don't want to walk in or near Death Inc. HQ. And I know a guy who could help you.
Persy
Can you bring us to someone who can sort it out?
Sabine
He's a member of Death Inc. They won't kill you on sight. I think.
Persy
It's a start.
Nesvalyn
I agree.
Axel
At least it will prevent us to-
Nesvalyn (cutting Axel)
ANYWAY.
Sabine
Yeah, you guys are lost out there?
Persy
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your good will, if that doesn't get us killed.
Sabine
Eh, I was bored anyway, and I got business to do around. You don't seem to be the boring type, am I right?
Axel
I hope so.
Sabine
Let me give you a quick tour, as I guess you've never been in a big city like that?
Nesvalyn
Not really.

They pull out a piece of paper folded.

Sabine
I like to be old school for that.

They keep unfolding the map showing a big 3D map. They point to the center level.

Sabine
So, as explained before, runned by Druid corps, the main dominant faction. Many residents are either first or second level druids. But the commodity is strange, as you get more levels with an alliance. The elite of Druid Corps are members of Circle, they're the experienced healers, the official members of the alliance, that kind of stuff. The current leader of the corps is ArchDruid Asher M'kay-Lee who resides in the centre of the World Tree.
Death Inc. is led by Bishop Shemna, a relatively progressive leader. Yhey want the undead to be fun around and very lively. But it's just a ruse to get more recruits. She's located in the Mausoleum, and they run the recycling center, along their usual shenanigans. It was a moon terraformed, so it's in control of the terraforming people. It started as a few people, but as Druid Corps and Death Inc joined, it fused into a megacity. It's divided in 10 districts, and each district has its own ruling, depending on who rules, which I can explain now.
Nesvalyn
Let's keep it simple for now if you don't mind, and explain us when we'll enter in the district.
Sabine
Ok, so there are 4 druids, 3 death and 3 neutral districts. Right now, you are in NoMaLa, it's a neutral district, it sits between BreadBasket (a Druid one) and the Mausoleum districts. It's the only district ruled by a democratic council.
Sabine (pointing the top right of the map)
Most of the districts are pretty cool, except this one, don't go there out of dark.
Sabine (Pointing down the street level)
That's the canal district, don't go there at all.
Sabine (poiting further down bottom and biggest part of the map)
That's the combs, that's where we need to go. It's a subterranean district, being under the surface. It's the true heart of the city, and you can find anything your heart desires if you're willing to put the price. Also it's runned by Death Inc, and it can go pretty wild.
Persy
Woah, this place is a lot bigger than my hometown.
Sabine
The total population is around 11 billion people.
Axel
How do we get to the bottom?
Sabine
Well, you guys can flight?
Axel
As long it takes less than eight hours.
Sabine
There you go. There are also things you can experiment who are behind your imagination. It's originally the headquarter of the sector for Death Inc.
Persy
Who's this contact you mentioned?
Sabine
Hell yeah, he's a pretty cool guy. And, he's also a fence. If you're not afraid of cursed objects or explosive elements. If there's nothing else, I'll led you there.

We all turn back in our cloud forms.

Sabine
Now, try to keep up! Don't to get too close to other ships, so keep an eye out, and follow the red!

Sabine's ribbon pull it out, it's expending as an aerialist red ribbon, who hooks on buildings, and they click their heels to make sparkles as they're backing up to start up.

l:Sabine
<You guys' ready?

We signal we're ready.

Sabine
Try to keep up!

They click the heels and hops forming two electoral rings, and it starts gliding by being slingshot into the air.
We're flying through the megacity following that person, who leaves electrical sparks behind them, making it easier to follow, even if Sabine is faster than us.
Finally they do a flip and dive straight downwards to the ground, and we follow them. It's getting dark near the ground, and we finally see the earth, with vines and branches catching Sabine, pulling her down.
Suddenly, we're in a tunnel, and we shape back to our regular forms.
They take their ribbon, shrink and use it to tie their hair in a ponytail. After a while, it brings to a light of a cavern, showing houses and elements going down into the darkness. We're back in the sounds of a city.
We notice many metal buildings, lit by some bioluminescent mushrooms, and even being in the caverns, it's bright as daylight.

Sabine
Welcome to the combs.
Nesvalyn
Feels a bit like home somehow.
Sabine
It's called Little Styx.

Little Styx
...

They guide us through a lively city with many undead, different to the ones Sabine described before, as they're looking as real undead along the smell. But it contains also living people. When we're getting in a lift to a market, it looks like a zombie market, trying to sell us bugs, spices and other commodities.
Finally, we're led to a building with a wooden door where Sabine knocks, and we're all led into a secretive back alley entrance. Inside, it's a very bright room, similar to a jewelry room.
As we're getting near the counter, we notice a dead Loxodon, wearing a lot of cologne to cover the smell, but nicely dressed, as even the bones are adorned with jewelry.

Undead Loxodon
Hey, Sabine! How's ribbon dancer doing?
Sabine
I'm not a ribbon dancer.

They pull of the belt of lighting bottles on the counter. They comment about transferring credits.

Sabine
My friends here have a question as you may be able to answer it.
Undead Loxodon
I love when you bring friends, I'm Laz.
Axel
Nice to meet you Laz, I'm Axel.
Persy
I'm Persy, do you have connections with Death Inc?
Laz
Well, always been a company man, but yeah, I know some people there. What's into you?
Axel
It seems that we made some higher ups angry by some misunderstanding.
Persy
But that's probably not the only thing we did wrong.
Nesvalyn
But we're trying to calm that so everybody can resume their existance as it was before.
Laz
Hey hey man, I don't work in contracts. Who did they sent you? The whale one, puppet one, musical girl...
Persy
That one.
Laz
What do you want me to do?
Persy
As you know more us than Death Inc than us, we're just looking to soothe up so we can resume our lives.
Laz
Well if you want to do it the legal way, you'll have to go to the office, give yourself in, get on parole, a trial. And the whole procedure can take up to some decades.
Persy
Let's avoid that.
Axel
I may end up dead due to my lifespan.
Laz
And that's how they win. But if you're looking for a faster way, you can go directly to the Mausoleum.
Persy
And what to do?
Laz
Talk to the Bishop, and he may pardon you.
Persy
How can you help us?
Laz
I can't talk to the Bishop, I'm only a shopkeeper after all.
Persy
Eh.
Laz
But I've heard rumors that the Bishop may be interested in... for the right price.
Nesvalyn
How much are we talking about?
Laz
I don't do anything for free. I've just heard a rumor that could help you.
Axel
If we buy items, would that help?
Laz
What can you do to soothe the deal?
Nesvalyn
We may have items you could be interested in.

Persy pays up 50 credits. Laz laughs from that view.

Laz
Really?
Persy
From where I am, it's a lot!

Axel gives the Waterdrop Pendant, but it's not enough.

Persy
Are you the only one knowing this?
Laz
Only one in this shop.

Persy gives the Dragonfire bellow, which is reticent to give it, triggering a small banter between Axel and Persy, as the last one is reticent to give stuff like that to Faz.

Laz
The bishop's niece is missing.
Persy
You're a scam artist if you tell us only that.
Nesvalyn
We have to give more to learn more, right?
Laz
That's how it works.
Persy
I feel disrespected.
Nesvalyn
Because of the items?
Persy
Not even that.
Laz
If you trade items, I'll have to make a profit.
Persy
Then ask for credits.
Laz
How much do you got?
Persy
Tell us a price!
Laz
Maybe for 500 credits.
Persy
There.

On paying, when asked for the tip, Persy adds the minimum, giving in total 505 credits.

Laz
Her name is Anathema.
Axel
How we move from information section to the items section?
Nesvalyn
Depends if it's the last piece information.
Laz
That's unfortunately all I know.

Persy gives a silent but angry look towards Laz.

Axel
Knowing that my friend spent money for that information, if we don't have enough money to pay up, what happens?
Laz
You know, I may know a guy who knows a guy who works at a Death Inc. That would be a shame if I said some punks came, especially fugitives.
Persy
Sabine, I thought this guy was chill.
Sabine
He is, you're acting weird.

We're starting to shop around.
Persy is interested to get a [Ring of Puzzler’s Wit], which is sold for 200 credits, and would cost 250 credits worth for the materials.
↪[Insight] It seems to be a weird logic to Axel, but it seems right.
Persy buys the materials.
Axel buys a Cloak of Displacement, but we're not allow to cast [Identify] before buying it.
Reylynn bought two circlets, one for her and one for Axel.
Persy asks for a new core, Laz gives direction for a person who would help us.

Laz
If you're done around, then get the fuck out.
Nesvalyn
It was nice doing business with you, thanks!
Sabine
I won't bring friends for a while then.
Laz
Yada yada.

[Identify] It's an Inconvenient Cloak of Displacement, it works the same as a normal one, but it gets stuck into doors, giving disadvantage on movement near some objects (like a door, desk, coat racks...).

Reylynn gives a circlet to Persy, which raised some suspicions from Axel and Nesvalyn.
Persy puts the circlet, and it's a Circlet of Human Mediocrity. It works the same of Circlet of Human Perfection, but you're found out as a boring person, and smelling weird.
Reylynn has another one that she's wearing at the same time.
There's a small banter between Nesvalyn and Axel, slightly trash talking about Persy and having a hard time believing he was better as a robot, which removes it after a moment.
Then comes the next step of our plan.

Nesvalyn (to Persy)
Do you want to check that person for your core?
Persy
I'd prefer to get out stuff connected to Or honestly, the earlier the better.

We're getting information on Anathema on the way.
[Investigation] It's the talk of the town and common news. Nesvalyn overheard the rumor of "Someone was talking how the grand niece had always a love for animals - They wouldn't be surprised would have gone to Aves Heights and didn't make it back."

We make our way to the train and get in, it's pulled by a dozens of undeads.
As it goes, it stays packed for most of it. We ride for an hour and fifteen minutes, and it gets emptier by time. At one point it's only us and a small group on the other side.
[Perception - Pass ✔] Nesvalyn and Axel notices that it's weird it's only us and them. And they keep looking at us and we have bad vibes from them.
One of them approach us.

Undead punk
Hey, offworlders, we don't take it kindly of your kind here.
Sabine
I'm not an offworlder you fuckers!
Undead punk
You aren't, but these ones are.
Axel
This is your only warning, you should leave before you get hurt.
Persy
For the love of god, you're always raising up this quickly.
Undead punk
Oh no, we think we have the better odds here.

He pulls out a dagger, and before any of us can react, suddenly one of the windows breaks open and lands a figure cloaked in all black, long cloak, with a long spear in their hand.

Undead punk
Oh shit!

This masked person beats them all in a blink, not killing them but we hear the sound of breaking bones.
[Perception - Pass ✔] Axel notices the fluid movements, their limbs look almost too fluid, making them think it could be a Plasmoid.
The figure knock them all out, and turn around to us, confirming Axel's theory.

Plasmoid vigilante
Civilians, I'm glad you're safe.
Nesvalyn
...thank you?
Axel
We probably had it handled, but your assistance was welcomed. Thank you.
Plasmoid vigilante
After all sibling, I found enlightenment to help all the enslaved ones, I am... the Black Slime!
Persy
How did you know they would start a fight?
Nesvalyn
And were you following us?
Black Slime
I was in the subway tunnel when I heard a woman scream, I suppose it was her.

they point to Sabine, who blushes after realizing that.

Black Slime
Whereas, people need my help from the Mausoleum and other places.
Nesvalyn
Is there a way to-

The Black Slime jumps through another window to leave.

Nesvalyn
And they're gone.
Persy
I see you have your fair of crazies here.
Sabine
Everybody wants to be a superhero these days...
Persy
Superhero?
Sabine
You know, with the druids being so popular, everyone can cast magic. And for Death Inc's membership requires to be dead, how do you help the city? So yeah. I was a superhero once.
Persy
What's the super for?
Axel
Just be a hero. It's just a regular guy.
Sabine
He just did a super job at beating these guys.
Axel
I probably could have took them by my own too.
Persy
It seems a bit goofy.
Nesvalyn
And you talk about that, AXEL COME ON! Have you heard what they said?
Axel
Yeah, I heard that part. It was very dorky, but it's good to know.

The train finally gets to our stop, leaving the moaning punks behind us.
The place is way more creepy, being Tar Town.
We notice a lot of people living on the street, sleeping in the catacomb style, like shelves into the walls, with just a bed for them. As we're making our way through, we find ourselves at a greasy mechanic shop.

The Mechanic Shop
...

There are a few Warforged and Dwarforged elements, with some electronics and vehicles, that person seems to be a general tinkerer.
We go in, and we see underneath an undead woman, especially her big belly, wiping grease on her shirt.

Nesvalyn
Uhm, hello?
Persy
Nice workshop you have here.

We hear a sigh, she pulls slowly from the wind surfer, and stands up from that.

Undead mechanic
Well, thank you kindly, I do you prefer you knock before interrupting.
Axel
I'm so sorry.
Persy
My apologies.
Axel
I believe my companion is looking for something specific and we're told you could help.
Undead mechanic
Probably. I'm Big Sue.
Axel
I'm Axel, it's great to meet you.
Big Sue
What can I do? That's for the automaton I suppose?
Axel
Yeah, that's Persy.
Persy
Yeah, I'm Persy. I'm looking to get my power core changed, as I can't inspect it myself and I don't know what to change.

Persy shows his inside to Big Sue.

l:Big Sue
<Woah, how a piece of scrap like you ended up with this?
l:Persy
<Apparently the guys who worked on me had certain contacts. As you can see, they have decent magic at their disposal. Unfortunately, I don't think it's reliable hope, and I'd like to get a replacement.
l:Big Sue
<By the looks of it, you didn't get messed up with a Fey lord, these sons of bitches. But powerful. Could be worth a lot of money.
l:Persy
<We can get an exchange if you want.
l:Big Sue
<Well, you coming?

Persy follows, along with the party, but not too fast as she waddles slowly.
Before us, there's a lab, contrasting with the outside junkyar, a full functional biotech lab, similar to the one we saw at the Dome.

Big Sue
Got me a nice party setup here, right before here was a Breathforge, I used it to make repairs and such.
Persy
Nice.

She opens a drawer and starts shuffle, searching for something.

Big Sue
Were you thinking magical, electrical or nuclear?
Persy
I'm not sure about the last one.
Axel
You've never heard of it?
Nesvalyn
Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
Big Sue
You didn't get that on your country?
Persy
Not really...
Axel
It's really powerful and useful to explode.
Persy
I would certainly prefer electrical as it seems cheaper.
Big Sue
You would need to recharge for 4 hours each day.
Persy
It leaves me with either magical or the other one that my friend said.
Axel
Yeah it does explodes, but it's specific when I die. You shouldn't worry.
Persy
Let's ask the expert then.
Big Sue
It's protected by force fields. The blast would be contained by the sphere, but you would die from it.
Persy
I would have ended up dead in all cases.
Big Sue
It needs to stay cool, so don't overheat it. It keeps most from force trauma, but doesn't protect from heat.
Axel
Extreme as out of flames or out of hell?
Big Sue
It's not an exact science.
Persy
Magic seems the most convenient in my case.
Big Sue
And you want to avoid Fey magic?
Persy
Yeah, I'm down for a trade.
Nesvalyn (whispering to Persy)
I was thinking, that would still work if you decide to revert to your old self?
Persy
It's still my soul in my Warforged body.
Persy (to Big Sue)
So as you have expertise, would it be some kind of temporary electrical while switching, or would I be gone for a second?
Big Sue
About 7 or 8 minutes to switch, so you'll be probably powered down for that time.
Persy
I don't usually power down. I go to sleep mode, but it's when someone else has to turn back on right?
Big Sue
Yeah, I'll do that once it's set.
Persy
You're an expert, I'm just nervous about that.
Axel
It's going to be fine Persy.
Big Sue
Normally I charge for this, but since you're offering that core, I'll take it from your hands. Back in the day, you can pay my rent for one month or two with those.
Persy
Why it's so desirable from these unpredictable lords?
Big Sue
Well, depends on what kingdom of Fey they're from. Feywild ones? Not good mechanics or mechanics. But the Other Fey? They know how to build a body.

During the banter, she touches things and asks Persy to sit. She reaches a big needle into a magic power core and a green light emanates from it. She opens a panel.

Big Sue
Alright, when I flip the switch, you're going to be shut down.
Persy
Yeah, I think so.
Nesvalyn
See you in a few minutes, it's going to be fine.

Persy shuts down in a thumbs position. Big Sue changes Persy's power core for a few minutes. When she turns Persy back, his thumbs up hand reaches out Nesvalyn's throat.

Persy
I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!

He then drops Nesvalyn, who coughs from the shock.

Big Sue
I recommend you to rest if you can, and talk to a therapist.
Axel
Thank you Sue, we will take care of him.
Persy
Big Sue?
Big Sue
Yeah hon?
Persy
Take my advice: sell that thing to your worst enemy.
Big Sue
I'll tell you what kid, I only have enemies.
Axel
Are there anywhere we can stay?
Big Sue
You don't want to stay here, trust me. Go on the surface and grab a lodge.
Axel
Thank you, you've been a wonderful help and a fantastic host. I see why you've been recommended.

Sabine gives direction to not be under Mausoleum, so we can find a safe hotel.
On the way back up, Persy speaks up.

Persy
I'm really sorry about that, Nesvalyn.
Nesvalyn
It's fine, no worries...
Nesvalyn (looking at Axel)
Just, don't aim for the head or vital organs when you'll shoot me Axel, please.
Axel
I won't betray you.
Nesvalyn
I know.
Nesvalyn (to Persy)
But how are you feeling?
Persy
Well apparently, fucking Or thinks he owns me, owns my soul. Like, fucking steal your bike tire on yours, it doesn't make any sense!
Axel
They're a real asshole, they own neither of us. We're going to show them of they don't .
Nesvalyn
They want to play with us mostly.
Axel
At their core, they have won.
Persy
I don't want to psycho analyze this shit. I don't care, it's- They can't understand how a being like that fucking exists.
Reylynn
Yeah, that's Fey for you.
Persy
They have terrible survival instinct. They're gloating me because they enjoy it, even if I'm going to make it even more painful when I'll get them.
Axel
They're trying to get under their skin, because they think they're invincible. I'm sorry on what they said or done, but that sounds very terrible.
Sabine
Erm, I know it's getting deep, but it sounds like you're having Fey troubles?
Nesvalyn
Yeah.
Axel
With a Prime of selkies.
Nesvalyn
More a Prime of Stupid yeah.
Sabine
Oh, one of the Other Fey.
Nesvalyn
Which means?

Sabine explains the difference between Feywild Fey are much less cruel than the other Fey.
The Other Fey it goes to the first two brother Fey, and their disagreement on mortal lives. The wild brother thought it was curiosity, to be learn from and it would be a part of existence to be examined.
The other one thinks it's irrelevant, being weak to Fey, with no point to exist. They come from the Hedge (Or is one of them).

Nesvalyn (sighing)
Yeah, they do enjoy torturing, and it works most of the time...
Sabine
Any feylord can be overcome if you know their true name.
Axel
How do we discover that?
Sabine
I don't know. You have a lead.
Axel
Nesvalyn, you said you would talk about what happened on the Spelljammer, what happened?
Nesvalyn
I...

Nesvalyn looks around, observes a bit Reylynn, then Persy, then looks away to avoid any eye contact with a party member.

Nesvalyn
That's not really the right moment...
Axel
Persy, do you want to talk more?
Persy
They showed me a video of my transformation as they called it. I didn't remembered much when I woke up. I probably blocked up the memory as it wasn't without anesthetics.
Axel
Do you recall them now?
Persy
Not really.
Axel
That's messed up. I can't put a name on it.
Persy
I was kind of hoping my body was kept on ice somewhere... but it's already gone.
Axel
We'll find a new one.

Nesvalyn put his hand on Persy's shoulder.

Nesvalyn
It's ok.
Persy
It will be ok.
Axel
If we can't get the original body, we can get at least a perfect clone.
Persy
I can't think about it until Or is dead. I won't considerer it.
Reylynn (after a moment)
Speaking of that, I had this weird dream that I was a Croquet ball and everybody playing Croquet.
Nesvalyn
Wait, repeat that.
Axel
We did play Croquet at Or's palace.
Reylynn
Or's Palace?
Axel
Ok so for context, we were invited at a diner with her mother to impress her as their friends, which in the end was-
Persy
A lie.
Axel
True, but we had to play Lawn Games, where the main section was made from body parts.
Reylynn
Weird, I felt as it was what I was living in my dream.
Axel
It seems that we were forced to participate in your torture.
Persy
It seems that... god damnit, Or did something to you too?
Reylynn
It's a dream, I don't know.
Persy
But you described precisely what we did at the palace!
Axel
I don't recall if we said it, but different souls inhabited your body.
Persy
We did, it's the third time she's been around.
Axel
It seems you've been tortured under heavily illusions by Or at their palace, along the other souls. You think of any reasons why it might be?
Reylynn
I don't know, Fey?
Persy
We thought it was Anria, but when she was here, she wanted to go for Or's knocker.
Nesvalyn
Perhaps she wanted vengeance?
Axel
Definitively, she might have done a deal with Or.
Persy
It's nothing with Anria or something you're hiding for us, right?

Reylynn shakes her head.

Persy
Alright. Anria certainly didn't tell us any shit, so that makes sense. Since that night that we took care of her, Senri said many things about Anria and killing her. But unfortunately, it seems that you don't know yourself, and it's not Or that will know. Perhaps from Anria, but she'll probably run away.
Reylynn
It's not that bad.
Persy
It is, don't you recall she tried to kill us all?
Reylynn
That's because you don't know her.
Axel
Don't know much, but they possessed your body and I had to kill her.
Reylynn
Once you get to know her, she's not that bad.
Axel
Anyone tried to get revenge on Or's at this point?
Persy
Speaking of you Axel, any traumatic memories from them?

[Insight] Axel doesn't recall anything.

Axel
Nope. Really the thing against them is them owning me. However I'm really curious why they bought me. I can't rationalise.
Persy
Perhaps you weren't really lucid and cheaper?
Axel
A good reason is any.
Persy
Maybe Fey money doesn't exchange very well.

As we're getting off the train and getting near the surface, we're in a single line file. It's only us in this tunnel and all the torches blow out.
Suddenly, we feel water in our boots and water splashes, and it raises knee height.
Standing behind us is a wall of water blocks us, and in front of us, glowing like a jelly fish is an undead girl, playing the bass, wearing this kind of jelly fish dress, flips her bangs up.

Undead bassist
Sup?
Axel
Look, I get the good idea why you're here, we don't need to do this.
Persy
Yeah, really.
Nesvalyn
But you're going to say a contract is a contract, and you're going to kill us anyway?

She plays the bass.

Undead bassist
Drown with me.
